Eating
Farmer’s Market Breakfast Bowls {a la Lauree}
I get a four pack of sweet Italian sausages and one roasted poblano pepper from the farmer’s market. Cook up one sausage and ¼ of the poblano with 2 eggs then add goat cheese and onion jam at the end. Easy. Local. Yum.

Wearing

Learning
“To love at all is to be vulnerable.  Love anything, and your heart will certainly be wrung and possibly broken. If you want to make sure of keeping it intact, you must give your heart to no one, not even an animal. Wrap it carefully round with hobbies and little luxuries, avoid all entablements, lock it up safe in the casket or coffin of your selfishness. but in that casket – safe, dark, motionless, airless – it will change. it will not be broken, it will become unbreakable, inpenetrable, irredeemable.” CS Lewis

    And loving Lauree’s blog… that keeps the summer spirit. Went to one of your restaurant pics “Westwind” and LOVED it. Keep your inspiration coming!
